I was twice a guest on a local hiking podcast called “Hike Yeah”. Unfortunately the show and its webpage are gone, but you can still listen to the old episodes (including mine) by visiting the Itunes podcast webpage.
On my first appearance we discuss photography and hiking with kids. On the second we discuss my role with Oregon Active and recent hikes.
Do you have any idea why the podcast and site are gone? Do you know of any good hiking podcasts still around?
Hi bubbasuess. I do know that Alex quit doing the show and the last I heard from him, was was living it up in New Zealand! Unfortunately, it is often the case that when podcasts cease, the production companies take down everything. Not sure why, but the same thing happened to the podcast I used to co-host. I’ll be honest, I haven’t searched for any hiking podcasts in a while, though now that you mention it I should probably try to track some down. I’ll let you know if I stumble across any. That’s a great blog you have going by the way
